One of those days, you know.

I guess dA has turned into some sort of vent thing for me lately. Partially because I get advice, partially because I don't want to go all unpersonal and post it in some forum.

Today was an utter, complete trainwreck. And I'm not even counting going to school by the long, tedious way instead of the usual (thanks to the yearly market) one. What I am counting is how Lana did not, and I repeat, did NOT want to listen at all today. To be honest, I have no idea what goes on in that big head of hers when she does these things. She's a frustrating cow sometimes. I was practicing lunging today, and prior to today, she'd lunge perfectly. Well... I could forget the canter on the lunge line, but the rest went okay. Thing is... She didn't even go on the circle today. I pointed, waved my whip at her (ah yes, I acquired a trainingsstick saturday and it has been no use to me at all. She simply does not care.), and then gave her a firm tap to edge her on. Nothing. And when she finally did circle around me, I gave her the cue for trot. She even fucking slowed down, that's how much of an ass she was being. Didn't get much better either... When I gave her a firm tap on her behind again, she actually turned around (I really wasn't prepared for this, since she never, ever did this) and took a swing at me. I cried, I yelled, I got frustrated. After one circle in trot, that she finally decided to do, I gave up and put her back. It was no use at all, I was pissed at her, she was obviously pissed at me, too. God, horses can be just as irritating as people are.
